week 7 feedback

- "camerametic" !!! --- very very important! (maybe we should meet up and spend time working on it together!!!!)

- experiment with grid in cinema!!! the camera should never stops moving--always moving!

- try to have at least one zig-zag movement but with perpendicular lines, stick with the grid!

- don't really need to see the mountains in the last scene while seeing them all together

- think about what do we see in the last scene? mountains = not necessary?

- should adjust the time line curves (cam slider) making sure there's no swirling lines, everything is moving pretty straight left, right, up, down (turn off the "auto tangent")

- the use of colors on mountains might apply "spline wrap object" (ask him to show us later)

- the colors on trees: use the previous one! no texture! just plain colors

- try sticking the bridge (or any building/object) on the grid. What does it look like in the grid?

Basically everything should look very "GRID-like"

and the camerametic is all about it! we need to spend time working on the animation!

otherwise we are pretty behind! Work hard guys!

Summary of the crit

1. refine music. match up the big events to the chord and have a stronger finishing phrase.

2. try out more buildings

3. explore mountain color ( maybe snow on top?)

4. experiment with more trees. (more square like)

5. think about how the energy ray is going to work. maybe building a grid frame first and we can work from there.

I think the first couple city part is just a little bit long. if we have the extra time maybe we can extend the intro just a little bit more. anyway, these are minor stuff. I think I'll show this to Rob and see what he has to say.
